      WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL WEEK
      Krishnamurty World School has celebrated World Environmental week from 8th to 14th Aug and proved that they have intense love for nature. The weekly celebration included several events such as “Best Out of Waste, Elocution, Tree Plantation, Poem Writing Competition, Drawing & Painting on “Save Trees, Save Earth.” Mr. Himanshu Shekhar Mohanty (Forest Ranger) Cuttack Sadar was the Chief Guest and he spoke about the importance of  plantation of trees on every good occasion.

        Raksha Bandhan Celebration
        Raksha Bandhan- The eternal bond between a sister and her brother is celebrated at KWS with much fanfare. The toddlers of Mon-I to Std-I with the help of teachers made a huge Rakhi for their brothers consolidating their love and prayed for their lifelong well-being.

          70TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
          Krishnamurty World School has celebrated the 70th Independence Day with zeal and enthusiasm. Proff. Dr. Nachiketa Das, a renowned educationist was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He spoke about children being the future citizens of the world and responsibilities entrusted on them to be the torchbearers of the coming generation.
          He was highly impressed by the school ambience and he visited each and every classroom, interacted with the students and teachers. He was highly optimistic about the phenomenal success of KWS in the coming years.

            Independence Day is an annual observance celebrated every year on 15th of August. India’s Independence Day is a day of great significance for the people of India. At this day India got freedom from the British rule after long years of slavery. It has been declared as the National and Gazetted Holiday all across the India in order to independently commemorate the independence of country from British Empire on 15th of August in 1947.
