Krishnamurty World School celebrated its 4th Janmashtami
and Nandostav festivity in the school premises with a fervour of devotion and enthusiasm.
The programme commenced with the chanting of shlokas from the Bhagwat Geeta by
the students of Std. V to VII. The spirit of love and bhakti for Lord Krishna
was well exhibited by the talented students of Montessori to Std X through a
spectrum of scintillating dance and musical programmes, depicting
the diverse ‘Leelas’ of Sri Krishna.
A fusion Yoga
dance show by the students of Std. V to VII lighted up the stage and mesmerized
the audience with their laudable performance. The gala event concluded with the
‘Dahi Handi’ celebration where the young Govindas of Std IX & X wooed the
audience with their exhilarating dance performance. They also made a human
pyramid and broke the Dahi Handi portraying one of the childhood ‘Leelas’ of
lord Krishna. The students received sweets at the end of the programme.
