        Krishnamurty World School celebrated Janmastami with devotion and fervour. The joy of the birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated in the school premises. On this occasion the Montessori children had their grand annual function. The function was graced with the presence of Mr.Bijay Chaki, Chief of News bureau, New Indian Express. The occasion was graced by the Benign presence of the school management committee members, Dr. P. C. Mohanty (Director, St. Xavier’s group of schools), Lekhashree Pattnaik & Somyak Mohanty. The event started with the lighting of lamp followed by Dhyana Shloka and welcome speech by Mrs. Asha T. R. (Principal, KWS). Pandit Matruprasad Mishra shared his wisdom on this auspicious occasion. Mont.-1 Students performed on “Kanha So Ja Zara” depicting little Krishna being called to sleep. The children acknowledge God’s love through their action song “God’s hand”, Mont-II tiny tots presented a devotional song dedicated to Lord Jagannath followed by an action song on “It’s whole world”. They mesmerized everyone with their Micky Mouse dance. Mont. III-A tiny ones presented a song on “God’s Gift”. They robbed the show with their carnival dance. Mont. III-B children presented a devotional song on Lord Krishna. They performed a song dedicated to Nature followed by mesmerizing Nature Dance. Class – VI performed Odia dance on Baramasi. Programme was concluded with the famous lullaby of Udupi Krishna (Jo jo yasoda Nanda mukundam)
