Krishnamurty World
School, Cuttack is a concept school located in ever green surroundings at
Cuttack. On the one hand children here are heard chanting Vedas and shlokas, on
the other hand, the school is working on international projects with overseas schools
like Tollgate Primary School, Newham & Indooroopilly High School,
Australia. The school regularly inculcates values and ethics like ‘Nishkam

celebrated its 2nd Annual Day function, ‘Navras’ on the occasion of
Janmastami on 14th Aug, 2017.
‘Navras’ means nine emotions of life with glimpses of Krishna’s life. On
this occasion, a state of the Art library was inaugurated in order to inculcate
reading habits among the children. KWS believes that it is reading which
refines the personality of a child and helps build a strong character. The
function was graced by the group editor of the Pramaya Group, Mr. Gopal Krushna
Mohapatra, Mr. Niranjan Rath, publisher, The Samaj, Swami Brahmananda
Saraswatiji Maharaj apart from members of the management, Dr. G.S. Patnaik, Dr.
P.C. Mohanty, Mr. Mukesh Saraf, Dr. G.S. Panda & Mr. Satyam Saraf. On the
occasion renowned singers Mr. Sricharan & Sri Premanand ji rendered
beautiful bhajans.
The Honourable Chief Guest, Mr.
Niranjan Rath speaking on the occasion said that “Krishnamurty World School is
felicitating the monks and hence is a very pious place. If I get a chance to
have birth again, I would like to study in Krishnamurty World School. ”
Every person has God inside, you just
need an insight. If knowledge is not there, the other activities are wasted
said Swami Brahmanand Ji Maharaj giving a deep insight to everyone. The right
knowledge leads to the right path and the right path leads to the Almighty. He
blessed the children of the school and advised them to use education as a
medium to contribute towards the welfare of the society.
In her report the Principal said that
KWS has a very different way of teaching wherein the school continuously
strives to excel in every sphere of life. We try to inculcate Indian values
like Matru- Pitru Seva and teach them the importance of Sanyog, Sampark and
Sambandh. A healthy mind stays in a healthy body and hence
Said Dr. G.S Patnaik, the Managing
Director of the St. Xavier Group of Schools that teachers are the nation
builders and deserve the respect from the society which unfortunately they are
not getting. He appealed to the parents to be patient with teachers and to
support them full heartedly.
‘Navras’ was a runaway
success whether it was the Hasya Ras or the Vibhatsa Ras or Shringar Ras, each
one had enthralled and charmed the audience. The parents of KWS children were
very happy with the gala event.
